Rita A. Booth of Elizabeth, 83,
church volunteer at Trinitas
Mrs. Rita A. Booth, 83, a
lifelong resident of Elizabeth, died yesterday at home.
A Mass will at 9 am.
Friday In St. Genevieve's Church, Elizabeth, after the funeral from the
Leonard Home for Funerals, 242 W. Jersey St., Elizabeth.
Mrs. Booth retired in 1933
as a planning assistant in the international division of the Schering
Plough Corp., Elizabeth, alter 15 years of service. Previously, she had
been a secretary for live years at British Ropes Corp. in Elizabeth.
She was a 1937 graduate of Miss Whitman's Secretarial School in Elizabeth.
A Eucharistic minister at
St. Genevieve's Church assigned to Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth, she was
also a member of the church's Rosary-Renew Group, the Leisure Club and the
Pro-Life Committee. Mrs. Booth was a tutor in the Rite to Read Program and
a member of St. Joseph's Social Service Center, both in Elizabeth.
Surviving are a son,
Thomas; daughters, Maureen, Nan, Jane Elizabeth and Rosemary; a sister,
Rose Vera Kaeppel; eight grand-children and seven great-grandchildren.

LEONARD HOME FOR FUNERALS, 242 West Jersey St, Elizabeth. on Friday, June
27, at 8.30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Genevieve's R.C.
Church. Elizabeth, 9 a.m, Interment St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
Visiting hours Wednesday 7~9. Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers,
donations to St. Joseph's Social Service Center, Rebecca Street,
